Hey Ladies-

Here is an opportunity for us to chat about the boards, wakesurf, and wakeskates we have ridden as divas on the water. As people start posting they can look here to see if they need help or have questions! Similar to the post dedicated to wakesurfing in the general forums this one is dedicated to the ladies. Feel free to post in both areas!!!

I have been on:

Wakeboards:

- 2004 LF Diva 134 was my first board, loved her greatly and she was very forgiving to ride and learn how to board on.
- 2006 O'brien Atla with CWB Torq bindings - very aggressive board that is fast and responsive in the water. I began to really progress with this board learning new surface tricks and some minimal air.
- 20?? LF Trip: when trying some friends boards out I slammed onto this board when I first began to learn. Loved how fast this board moved and helped me realize I was ready to progress to the next level.
- 2007 LF Diva
- Ridden: Hyperlite Blur (LOVED IT...so I went back and bought the '07 Diva to get back to my roots)

WakeSurf:
- Broadcast nuff said
- LandLock - don't know why but I love this board
- '04 and '07 Oogle
- Red Tide

WakeSkate:

- Hyperlite Scape - fun board for a first time skatin' need to realize I am not wearing bindings but it is a great board very fun and responsive fluid movements.
- LF Maven '41

I have been on:

Wakeboards:

- Motive 140 with Splits bindings was my first board. It was a good beginner board in the sense that it's easy to get up on, but my learning progress was slow on this board.
- Parks 140 with the Byerly bindings was the next board; which I rode for almost 2 seasons. Now this board is fun. I learned surface 180's, even backside 180's on this board. It is a great board for surface tricks. I even started to get some air on my jumps. However, i realized at some point that the board was just too big for my size & I needed a GIRL board! (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/yes.gif)
- Premier 141: I enjoyed riding this board. It has a lot of qood qualities, but once again it was too big for me.
- Blur 134: My first girl board. Yea! I love this board. I have progressed so fast on it as far as jumps & one-wake 180's. However, it's a bit tricky on the surface 180's - I've face planted way, way too many times to even be funny anymore.
- Byerly 137 with Byerly bindings: Scary is all I can say....

We also rented many, many other boards for a weekend at a time, but I can't remember which ones they were.

WakeSurf-
- Broadcast - LOVE IT!
- LandLock - Good Beginner board or for two riders at once
- Oolge - Fun for a 20 minute tour of the lake
- Prop - Very fun board, very fast and responsive....takes a little getting used to
- F-18 (Walker) - Only tried it once , CAN NOT WAIT to ride it again

WakeSkate-
- Hyperlite Scape - I've only rode it twice. It was alot of fun. Totally different feeling to not have those feet tied to the board!

Okay I'll play:

wakeboards:

Hyperlite Fluid 137(?)
Hyperlite Drifter 137
Hyperlite Premier 136(?)
Hyperlite TFD 136
Hyperlite Belmont 131 DNA
LF Luscious 134
OBrien Alta 136(?)
CWB Absolute 135

Those are the most recent, I've really been on too many to remember the models or how they rode. If I liked it better than what I was riding, I went out & bought it. I'm not sure what my board of choice will be this year, or even if there will be one this year. The Belmont has broken me 3 straight years now & the last go-round put me on crutches for over three months, so either way I'm done with that board (as much as I liked it). The 12 year old is riding it currently & once it's done its duty, it will go on my wall as a trophy/reminder.

EDIT: CWB Absolute is in my future. Great board that I'll probably ride finless.

surfboards

Broadcast, 4'6 (or maybe it was a 4'9, can't remember offhand) & 5'6
Phase 5 Oogle
CWB Ride (can't remember the size at the moment)
LF Skimskate 4'6 (current board of preference)

skates

Hyperlite Scape

Skating.....it's just a poor substitute for wakeboarding IMO.

Oh no, say it isn't so...WakeGirl!!! (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/huh.gif) Everyone is entitled to their opinion... I guess (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/;).gif)

But after having watched countless videos of all these wakeskaters in the last few weeks; I am picking up that skate this season!!! (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/respect.gif) They are individuals in their own right for wake sports and do some pretty amazing stuff from what I have seen. IMO

Yeah, I didn't mean it the way that it came out. What I meant is that for me & the way that I'm wired, it's a poor substitute for wakeboarding. Surfing & wakeboarding are different enough that I don't see them the same - I can relax when I'm surfing & get that high from going big on the wakeboard. But I totally & completely respect anyone that can throw down on a skate. It's just not my thing.

Okay, learned how to ride on different boy boards with huge bindings, which sucks if you only wear a size 6 shoe! Then I decided if I wanted to get any better I needed to get a good board and properly fitting bindings. I have a LF 130 Angel with Hyperlite Mini Eras. I love this board and the bindings are great too. I really began to progress on this board and am able to catch decent air. I too have taken way too many face plants on this board and had completely given up on surface tricks, but then someone told me to remove the middle fin. YAY!!! That makes it so much better. The board can be a little squirrelly, but it is better for surface tricks! I just won a new board it's a 135 Ronix Trinity. Props to the Dallas Girls Wakeboard Club. I am going to slap some LF Melissas on there. I went and tried these bindings on and holy cow are they comfy! I am just learning how to surf and it has been on an older Hyperlite Landlock. My sweet spouse and I had borrowed it from his Dad and after showing him how to use it, we had to give it back this weekend. SUCKS!! We are going to buy something this week, but not sure what yet. I would be happy to answer any questions that anyone might have about items listed above.
Ray Roberts girls: Hope to see you all this weekend! We are heading out on Saturday. I hope to have my new boards with me! (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/).gif)

So, how are you liking those LF Melissas? I Need more info......

I do not care too much for my bindings. Last year they hurt all over, and now after working them in some, the tops have loosened up, but around my ankles and shins they are still too tight it seems. After a hard wreck this weekend, and a bad ankle bruise, I am thinking I may need to switch bindings.

I like a binding that holds my foot in snug, but I think I need something softer as far as the top half of the binding goes.

So like Dally Mally I also just used whatever was avaliable for awhile, big boards with ginormous bindings (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/shock.gif) . Not so much fun, too many face plants, cases of whiplash and tooo many trips to the Chiropracter to get put back together... So
first
Hyperlite ERA 137 & huge bindings on tiny feet, that board has a razor edge that will catch on anything and is so unforgiving, yuk
LF Diva 128, liked if but i'm 5'9 so it was to tiny for me
Hyperlite Premier 136 it was ok
Ronix 137 Gentle board comfy ride but not enough pop
LF Waston 134 with Melissa bindings yummy... i loved it but wanted to try a girls board
LF Angel 134 with Ronix Rise close toe bindings, loved the bindings but couldn't seem to get them tight enough on my ankles, and the Angel is Hrmm well lets just say shes my devil we didn't get along well at all, fins or not! Just not enough pop and it likes to edge on its own...
LF Witness 136 with melissa bindings better board but still not quite right.
So now my next venture is the LF Jett 136 with MElissa bindings, results soon to follow

Ok I might get this wrong but here goes... (IMG:http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/style_emoticons/wake/whistle.gif)

Grüezi Becci!!!

Merci vilmal for coming to our site (???) did I slaughter it???

We wakesurf wherever we hit the water but mostly Ray Roberts, Brazos, Fayetteville, Lake Conroe and Sommerville (With WakeDoc and Diva)

Season is starting VERY soon...we had snow last week and tomorrow is in the 90s so once Mother Nature decides her mood we are hitting the water. And most likely in our new Centurions!!!

Yeah you did master it ! Have you beeen to Switzerland ?

Weather wise same with us warm one day snow the next. I hope I get a chance to ride before we escape for some ocean surfing in Barbados.
I'm jealous about the centurions we wanted to buy one over here but they are twice as expensive as in the US and nearly twice as expencive as Nautiques ore MC's over here. You generally don't find them over here. That's why we bought a nautie 211 instead.

The water is Beautiful !!!!! Great picture!

Our Texas Lakes here have more of a Brown / Green color to them. NOt nearly as pretty as yours. Our water temp. is about the same on Lake Ray Roberts right now: mid-50's. I like my water a little warmer - like upper 70's. Barbados sounds wonderful !

Do they sell Mailbu boats over there?
