Ok, so i picked up an 06 L13 Superstar from Vince Whiteman (L13 Rider) that was pretty much thrashed, It had also been cut down from a 42" to a 39." Since the original, i have completely stripped the board then used spot putty and bondo to fill in all the cracks, gashes, and holes in the board, including the fin holes. Then i through on numerous coats of sealer/primer and then some paint (nothing special, just what i had laying around the house), which just so happened to be fluorescent orange and black. Dont worry about the graphic....its just a nickname ive had ever since i can remember.
The main thing i did to the board to hopefully make it a little different then the rest, was taking this sheet of plastic i had in my garage and sealing it to the bottom of the board, to make my own sort of "pbt" bottom. This wasnt easy, but i hope it holds up.
Lastly, i put three solid coats of varnish on the board to seal it all up, and of course add the Jessup grip tape i won from the Wake Outlaws contest.
Let me know what ya think...

Some of the pictures show close up on the plastic sheet, and its the reason the graphic has this sort of foggy look to it...

Good work and use of the grip, makes me want to redo a skate, wish I had an old one that needed some new threads.
